Terms of Service
HostStation.Net provides a paid service, of web hosting to individuals. In order to guarantee the security of our network, the following conditions apply when using our services:

  • HostStation.Net reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
  • Our services may only be used for the hosting of legal content.
  • Copyrighted materials, unless owned by the subscriber may not be stored or transmitted over our network.
  • The subscriber authorizes HostStation.Net to charge whatever outstanding dues to the credit card of the subscriber.
  • The subscriber understands that the Internet is an environment controlled by humans and that network interruption is highly possible and in no way shall HostStation.Net be liable for any damages caused by downtime.
  • The subscriber agrees to all policies discussed in this section including but not limited to our SPAM policy, abuse policy and the rest of the policies listed on this page.
  • The subscriber understands that all prices listed on our website are in US Dollars and that all prices are subject to change.
  • The subscriber agrees that this policy is subject to change without prior notice, it is the responsibility of the subscriber to stay up to date on our policies.
  • Refusal to pay any outstanding dues will result in immediate termination of service without reactivation.

SPAM policy
HostStation.Net takes SPAM very seriously.  SPAM is strictly forbidden on all the servers hosted on our network. Any user account found to be sending SPAM  will be subject to immediate termination without liability and refunds. The subscriber will be responsible for all cost incurred due to the SPAM to Host Station and the Data Center. All subscribers must also ensure that their SMTP servers do not have an open relay. HostStation.Net is not liable for SPAM sent out by its clients although HostStation.Net will do what's most possible to prevent SPAM from its users.
Abuse policy
HostStation forbids any form of network abuse including but not limited to "denial of service" attacks. Any form of bandwidth abuse, IP abuse or network abuse will not be tolerated. Any user generating any form of abuse will be subject to a 24 hour notice period, this period must be used to clear up any abuse problems  from his/her server. If within this period the abuse problems are not resolved, the user will be subject to immediate termination of service without liability or refunds. If a user is found to be deliberately using the HostStation network to perform network attacks, a fine of $500 per incident will be imposed on the user. After 3 such incidents, the user will be permanently removed from our network.
Examples of content that is not acceptable on HostStation.net Servers: Pornographic material, "Pirated software" or "Warez", "Hacker programs and/or archives", "IRC Bots", "Gambling Related"," Copyrighted Mp3's".
Adult content
HostStation.Net does not allow adult content on our  servers. We do not tolerate child pornography! Any server found with such content will be taken offline immediately without liability or any refunds.
Refund policy
HostStation.Net in order to make dealings fair to both parties (us and the subscriber) has a very fair refund policy. We have a full 30 day unconditional money back guarantee on all hosting accounts.

Privacy policy
HostStation.Net maintains a strict privacy policy, all our clients are given full privacy rights. The following are our privacy clauses:

The data we collect is never given or sold to any parties.
Incase of a dispute on outstanding balances, HostStation.Net reserves the right to use a collection agency to collect the outstanding dues from the subscriber. In this case, the information of the subscriber will be made available to the collection agency in order to collect outstanding dues.
Our system collects credit card numbers (for billing), and IP addresses. This information remains within the system of HostStation.Net unless the subscriber commits credit card fraud.
All contacts between the subscriber and HostStation.Net are confidential unless the security of HostStation.Net is at risk.

SLA (subscriber level agreement)
HostStation.Net maintains a subscriber level agreement to ensure fairness incase of extended downtime to our service, the following constitutes our subscriber level agreement: HostStation.Net guarantees uptime at 99.5% during a month.

It is henceforth understood that HostStation.Net will not be liable for any downtime credit unless our combined downtime period exceeds 3 hours and 44 minutes in a month. In the case of downtime periods exceeding 3 hours and 44 minutes, a compensation of 5% percent  of monthly charge per hour that your connectivity is down (due to a fault of our network), will be credited to your next month's bill, up to a maximum of 50% of monthly charge. The downtime will be calculated from the moment when a support ticket is created to inform Host Station about the network down.

All downtime credit claims, must be made prior to each billing period to our billing department at billing@hoststation.net. Keep in mind that HostStation.Net will not apply any credits by default. All credits must be claimed by the subscriber.
